Origins Of The Universe
The Universe
Is a ball of fluff,
From God's belly button picked;
Mixed with
A blob of earwax,
And into the Cosmos flicked.
Lovers
I've had
My share of lovers,
Some lost
And some forsaken;
I remember each
For what they gave
And not
For what they've taken.
Animosity
When animosity
Replaces reciprocity;
And generosity
Fails to show;
That's the time
To quit verbosity,
And on your way to go.
Eyes
Some days
My eyes are brim with tears,
My heart full of sadness,
My mind full of fears;
Other days
My eyes glow with a spark,
My heart full of joy,
I'm up with the lark;
Best days
My eyes, relaxed, just smile,
My heart full of love,
Friends close all the while.
God Is In His Heaven
God is in his Heaven,
And the birds are singing loud;
And I can see a fairy
Riding on a pollen cloud.
The dragonflies are buzzing,
Twixt the shimmers on the pond;
My thoughts drift off to Spirit things,
And on the life beyond.
My body's on the Earth plane,
My consciousness elsewhere;
God is in His Heaven,
I'd much rather be there.
Many The Years
Many the years,
Many the fears,
Many the tears
I've cried;
But, thankfully,
Many the friends
Who've made amends,
The universe sends - undenied.
Puppy’s Eyes
Hope stared through
The puppy's eyes
All soulful, sad and pleading;
If you love me,
Then I'll love you,
God's love through me you're reading.
Distraction
If we
Don't concentrate,
On what we're doing,
But allow ourselves to be distracted…Then the
Full potential
Of what we're doing
Will never be extracted…
Humour
In my younger days
There was good humour;
Now, with political correctness,
It's all just a rumour.
